All you need to do is to activate a one-time 4- 6 digits secret PIN prior to the loss of your SIM card or the blocking of your PUK. This Secret PIN when activated can be used for both Self SIM swap and Self PUK reset.
  • The secret PIN is the key that gives you access to our self SIM services. You can have it changed if you desire to, or you can have it reset if the PIN can’t be remembered. This is why a customer is required to enter an alternate number when setting up their secret PIN.
  • To perform self SIM swap, a customer must have the following:

  • 1. A blank Lonestar Cell MTN SIM Card.
    2. You should know your secret PIN (have it activated before your SIM gets missing or blocked).
    3. Remember your date of birth as per how it was registered in our database.
    4. Know your old PUK (You can obtain via the self-service channel or through our digital platforms – 0888500000 Whatsapp, 0881500000 Ayoba
